A novel campaign http://evagreenindia.org/ all set to be initiated in July 2017 is also a large scale attempt to flourish the greenery of Coastal Karnataka even further. ‘Eva Green’ is a non-political, non-profitable and non-religious campaign about to begin in Mangalore with big plans to enhance the natural assets of the city.
Eva Green makes sure that their saplings shall grow to serve their purpose through GIS monitoring. Every sapling will have GIS technology implemented within, which means that the organisers of the campaign shall keep an eye on how well the sapling is being taken care of.
The primary purpose of this campaign is to plant 1 lakh saplings around the city within this year, and the organisers have more grand plans for the city to involve as well.
